At that time - I was putting 10 hours a day on my feet and suffered with excruciating pain in my right foot. A trip to the foot doctor discovered some type of plantar problem - with 3 weeks of physical therapy and painful injections into my heel I was desperate to find a shoe that did not hurt my feet and was trying to find another alternative to some complicated surgery that the doctor wanted to perform on my right foot. Well, to this day I now own 15 pairs of CROCS and refused to pay any more money on orthotics that are totally useless, I must have thrown out 20 pairs of shoes when I completed my shoe dilemma. For any nurse or medical professional - just one pair of CROCS will save years of pain and misery because our jobs are brutal on our feet. Then, two and a half years ago I changed jobs to an oral surgery asst., now instead of sitting on my butt all day; I was standing for 8 hours. Yikes my feet, calves and back were killing me. I bought expensive sneakers, no relief; I cried at the end of the day, was I going to have to quit this new, better job? A friendly person therefore gave me a pair of Relief in light blue. I was first very sceptical about Crocs in general and didn’t know anything about the separate medical line Rx. But after wearing the shoes for a long period it didn’t take me a long time to get use to this fantastic comfortable shoe. The elevated sole added to the comfort and support, it gave me a safe feeling which is great for a person with my foot conditions!
